Welcome to the Weather Station Data Portal of the Western Cape Department of Agriculture.
The Department of Agriculture collects weather data from a pool of weather stations all over the province for its own research purposes. The weather stations data is available at daily, hourly and monthly intervals.
The Map section shows the distribution of the weather stations on an interactive map, as well as the current conditions for selected weather parameters. Click on the station markers for more information.
The Data section can be used to view and/or export climate data for a selected station for a selected period and interval.
Data is not verified and is used at own risk. It is important to note that only South African Weather Services (SAWS) data can be used for official purposes.
